A computer keyboard.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to quickly get insights into Voyce, navigate around the app, and complete commonly-used functions as efficiently as possible.

To partly achieve this we've added the first very few keyboard shortcuts to Voyce. This is obviously not the full extent of the work we want to do, but we wanted to make a start early so we can see what's possible and what's likely to cause us problems within the user interface we're putting together.

Below is a list of the shortcut keys currently available (yes, it's a short read!), but we'll be adding and reorganizing this list as work continues to add features. We'll also add a handy reference inside Voyce, and make it easy to discover and remember which keys to what. More details to follow!

Shortcut Description
Key Combination
Usage Notes
Go to Insights
Ctrl + I
Go to Problems
Ctrl + P
Go to Solutions
Ctrl + S
Add a new issue
n
Works on the Insights, Problems and Solutions tabs.
Edit an issue
e
Will open an issue for editing from the 'view details' modal.
Escape
esc
This will cancel most actions and close most modals.
Delete an issue
ctrl + x
From the 'view details' modal.
Activate search
s
Opens the search modal from the Insights, Problems, and Solutions list views.

So that's it for now - not too much to see! But as we continue to add new keyboard shortcuts we'll add to this list, and we'll also add an in-app reference when it becomes a priority.

In the meantime, let us know if you have any feedback or suggestions. We're always interested to hear your thoughts so don't hesitate to let us know what you think!
